The inquiry lands in our inbox as one line: standard, headcount, sites, date. If something obvious is missing, such as which clause 4.3 scope you intend to certify, we write back and ask rather than guess.

A written scope arrives
One or two pages. Which engagement fits, the indicative consulting days, what we need from you and what we will not do. For a gap assessment that means a fixed fee per site. For implementation, a fixed fee agreed after a 30-minute scoping call.

Week 1
Scoping call, if you want one
We ask for your org chart, the process list and any document you already control. You ask us anything. Then an engagement letter, or a polite no from either side.

Week 2 onward
First day on site
Usually a floor walk and the document master list. If your document control lives in a shared drive called FINAL_v7, we start there.
Questions people ask before they write
Can you get us certified by a date?
No. We do not issue certificates. A certification body does, and it cannot also be your consultant. We get your system ready for the stage 1 and stage 2 audits and tell you plainly when a date is not realistic. Full implementation needs at least three months of records before stage 2.
We are 12 people. Is this overkill?
Often it is, if someone sold you a 140-page manual. A 12-person shop can run ISO 9001 on a handful of procedures and honest records. Say the headcount in the form and the scope will be sized to it.
Do you work outside Seattle?
Yes, across Washington and elsewhere in the United States. On-site days outside the Puget Sound area carry travel time, and the scope will say how much.
Who should not write to us?
Anyone who wants a certificate without changing how work is done, or a set of procedures for processes nobody runs. We will not write those. Everyone else, including organisations whose last audit went badly, is exactly who we work with.
